Sand Tray work uses self-discovery processes to bypass the logical mind and tap into that world we cannot seem to comprehend consciously. This experiential and holistic way of working involves more than ‘just talking about the problem’
Sand Tray work combined the use of sand, water and miniature figures. This combination helps the participant to explore inner strengths and to harness the resiliency that exists within them. There is often immediate feedback from the work with new insight and enhancing cognitive understanding of your self and any issues you might be looking to resolve.
Sand Tray work is an invitational, self-discovery approach, encouraging insights and change from within the client. The method and attitudes are client-centred, recognising and valuing your personal interpretations and meanings. It allows for deep healing by involving the mind, the body and the emotions in a context of respect.
